The Lifetime CLASSIC is the latest blind search FTA receiver from Fortec Star. It has more memory than the current Fortec Lifetime ULTRA. Advanced Blind Search capability. Fast channel changing.

Any info what "Advanced blind search" capability is? What improvement will it have over the old blind search?

The new BLIND SEARCH feature is as follows:

Now you (the user) can specify the transponder frequency increment that the receiver will search. For example you can have an increment of 2MHz, 4MHz, 6...10MHz.

The bigger the increment, the faster the BLIND SEARCH.

Can't tell you which one bit the bucket, but its either this receiver or my HH90 motor. Had installed for about a month and a half.

If and when my unit begins working. I will change this post with update.

I just ordered two of them from Sadoun sales site over the weekend.

I plan on plugging one into my BUD as soon as I get them, I am a newbie to FTA so i'm really looking forward to the experience.

I plan on giving some type of review from a newbie's perspective.
