786 for the Middle east

Hi
I want to get a 786 for a friend in the Middle east, Is the right one the 786 v2? can I get it here in the US?
Is there a way to get the schematics for it in case he needs to fix it..he is an electronics technician and I need to know that he will not be stranded after the warranty expire

Yes you can use the Fortec Star 786v3 in the Middle East. Schematics are owned by the manufacturer and not shared with users.

Fortec is a famous brand in the Middle East and you should not have a problem finding a distributor/dealer to help you in case your run into any issues.

I want to save the A/V outputs for the VCR so I do need a modulator and the v3 does not have a modulator so I would assume the 786 v2 has a european RF modulator PAL UHF 21-69 which should work in the middle east
right..?
