My setup is fortec ultra and dish pro with two dual lnb's. I can only get 110 satellite. On my receiver menu is shows 95% signal strenght for 110 and 119. When i view the 119 it says bad or scrambled channels on all of 119 satellite. I have tried to use the disqc switch and the dish network switch and neither one works. Should the switch be grounded or is there other issues concerning my setup?
Most channels on 110 and 119 are Dishnetwork and they are scrambled and not meant for FTA viewing. You cannot use the Dishnetwork switches (ie: SW21) with a Fortec receiver; you need a DiSEqC switch. Also, you cannot use a DiSEqC switch with a Dishnetwork receiver.
