Newbie needs help with receiver choice

Hello
I bought a 30 inch dish and a fortec lnb, now I would like to know if the Fortec star ultra or the 5900 model is for me. Is there any pay nag satallite providers (Adult and non Abult) on the sats in America? If there isn't any why should I buy the 5900 with the nag card slot if it can't be used?
Does the 5900 have the same blind scan as the ultra?(maybe there are some 5900 owners who also have the ultra can tell me which they like better
and why)
Can anyone give me a run down on all the pay services except dish and direct that can be accessed by 5900?
Thank You Very Much
rdel

I think you can receieve the Hispasat channels from Spain with a card they give you. Sadoun's website describes what you can do.. Unless you exclusively want to decode something legally with the 5900, then go for an Ultra... The blind search is fantastic for a FTA hobbyist.

There are limited channels available. Go to www.lyngsat.com and check satellites for encrypted channels with Nagravision subscription requirements. Start at Hsipasat 1C at 30W and go westward.

BTW, if you are going to watch Hispasat 1C on a regular basis, the 5900 is the best choice because you will be able to buy subscription to the many Spanish channels available.

Nag Encrypted channels requiring subscription I was able to find on Lyngsat:
~ Paquete Digital para América on Hispasat 1C at 30.0°W
~ RTN - Racetrack TV Network on Galaxy 3C at 95.0°W
