Setting time

Does the Fortec retain the user set time, or does it update the time from a satellite? My time has gotten to be five hours ahead of local time.

I'm new to this but I have 786V3 receiver, the time and date get input by me and are saved. I have not seen the time change from when I last set it, unless you unplug and replug the unit back in , then the time has to be input again. Hope this sheds some lite on your issue. What model of receiver are you using?

I have a 786NA.
Now that you mention it, I bet I forgot to reset it after taking it out to the new antenna. ops:
