I recently bought three fortec ultra lifetime models. I downloaded the software into all three of them. One unit works and the other two turns off whenever i go to installation modes.. What's up with that? Can I get these replaced by sadoun or am i stuck with it? I also bought several lbnf for fortec system which does not seem to work better than Samsonic model ACE1075. :mozilla_frown:
Sorry we don't replace receivers damaged by software transfer. You can go to www.fortecstar.com and download the right software for your model. That may reset your receivers to factory default.
Regarding LNBFs, make sure it is setup correctly in the receiver's menu.
I too purchased three systems. When I downloaded the software updates to one of them, it no longer worked. I then did a receiver to receiver transfer form one of my working receivers. That restored it to working again.
After several other attempts, I found that my problem was that I did not "unzip" the file. The sofware that you downloaded was in a zipped file and must be unzipped before uploading to the recievers.
