I've been using a regular Lifetime receiver for over a year and half, but just recently picked up an ULTRA. I seem to remember from reading here, that shortly after the Ultra came out, there were a lot of complaints about the firmware, but I can't remember what the complaints were, and I can't remember which firmware upgrade took care of these problems, etc.
I've been using the Ultra for a few days, and it seems to work OK, although it has frozen up when it encountered a
HD channel for some reason. So I was considering putting in newer firmware.
To save me the time of searching back here, I was wondering if someone could remind me of the problems that existed in the original firmware, what version that was, and with what version were these problems resolved. This will help me decide if it is really worth me upgrading it. I'm not afraid of putting the new firmware in it, as I've done it a couple times on my regular Lifetime, but I didn't want to do it if it didn't provide some improvements.
