Question about 921 receiver and fortec receiver

Hello

I have a 1 meter dish with two lnb. One is universal and the other one circular. I have a diseqc switch to combine the two into a hh-100 motor and then the cable goes in the home.

I did connect the cable to my fortec receiver and then the output of the fortec receiver to the k/v input on my 920 receiver ( I saw on another post that I should put it in the "input from lnb" connector but when I do that I have no signal.

My problem is. Even if I go to a ku satellite like g4 at 99 degrees. shut down my fortec receiver and go in the 920 receiver it doesn't work. I get a signal of 32 and quality of 99 on transponder 7.

I also wanted to download channel maps because this receiver has only a2 and x7 satellites.

So how should I connect this and should it work or if I absolutely need a bud.

Best regards

You can only get the maps on the 4dtv off of Galaxy-10 C-band. I'm sure if you look around you can find a free 10' dish and set it up with c/ku feedhorn and lnbs.

Thank you

I'll look around. If someone is near Quebec city and wants to sell a 10 foot dish, I'm interested.

Hello again all

I will be able to download the maps

My question is :

With a 10 feet dish, what will I be able to get with my 921 receiver. I read that I could not subscribe to us channels.

Or should I buy a 920 or 922. I hope I did not do an error buying my 921.

Best regards

Well the 921 was made for Star Choice, so you can sub to there programming, if you want the usa channels then a 920/905/922 is needed.
