Fortec Lifetime Ultra Receiver

I have just bought a Fortec Star Lifetime Ultra receiver. I programmed the receiver according to the Sadoun website. I selected the T5 satelllite at 210 degrees and elevation of 52 degrees and LNB tllet of 26degrees. I am not getting any signal, so I measured the voltage at the "Ant. In" after disconnecting the dish. I get zero DC volts. I had expected to measure a minimum of 12 volts dc. Is the receiver defective. It is brand new and I have not tempered with it in any way. I checked to make sure that the LNB voltage is "ON" Thank you in advance.

You measured the wrong input... "Ant In" is for hooking up an external off-air antenna or cable TV. Try measuring the voltage at the "IF INPUT". The dish is connected to "IF INPUT" -- common mistake made by many...

LNB Voltage

Thank you for your reply. I had a hard time tracking down your reply.
Do connect the Fortec Dish to the "Ant In" and measure the LNB voltage at the "IF input?' Since the LNB is directly connected to the LNB from the "Ant In" how does the LNB gets its power if No DC is present at the "Ant In" socket?

LNB voltage

After I sent the previous message, I re-read the Fortec manual and realized that I made a mistake by connecting the Dish to the "Ant In" instead of to the "IF In " socket. Thanks again for pointing me to the correct connection. I really appreciate all your knowledge and help. God bless you Kat.
