fortec star 786 v3

I have just purchased a fortec star 786 v3 i have a pansat 2500a and have set that one up i am woundering where i can get the software to update it and if it is the same procedures as my pansat any help would be greatly appreciated i am a newbie thanks

If you ordered from Sadoun, he will ship it with the most recent version already on it. I don't think that 786 v3 had any recent software updates. Why do you think you need to update software on it?

I had bought it over ebay and i try a scan and get no channels what is the best sat to aim this at thank you
