Atlantic Satellites

Maybe someone can educate me. I live in mtl cda, 45.5 N, 73.9 W.....
I just set up a fortec ultra with a hh90 motor and an 80 cm dis, fortec universal lnbf. Can I get Atlantic bird 1, it shows a footprint..in the lyngsat website. If so what frequencies are reachable.

Also can someone give me a link on how to tell if the frequencies are associated with C band or Ku band.

thanks in advance.

Just look at the "beam" column and if it says Americas then you can get it. Not much on this sat though beamed to North America. The way you can tell from c and ku is the frequency column. If the frequenc is in five digits (ie, 12080) then it is KU.. If it is 4 digits then its c band. Lyngsat first put c band tps at the beginning and then at the bottom is ku. Atlantic Bird 1 is all ku anyway.

Atlantic

Druze,

Thanks for your reply. Explains why the hours of power scanning didn't result in squat...Well, I'll break it to my parents that no Italian channels are available here in North America.

Telepace is available on Intelsat Americas-5.

Check lyngsat.com "free tv" and "free radio" headings for others. Sometimes there are a few on Galaxy-10R, too.
