Scan for Brasil 3 satellite is getting no programs

Could any one one help me with steps to scan Brasil 3 satellite channels.
I'm using Fortec Star lifetime ultra free to air reciver

Unless you are located in Brazil or near it you cannot get anything from that satellite

I'm located in Herndon, VA. Apart from 3 EchoStar satellites, I couldn't scan any other staellites. Why?

What size dish are you using? What kind of LNBF?

I'm a beginner and learning things on Satellite systems.
I've only ONE Dish, was installed by DISH Network and pointing towards South sky. Dish is of model JVC 500 and LNBF reads as Digital, not sure how I can find other info abt my dish and LNB.
Currently I'm getting International channels using Fortecstar lifetime ultra free to air receiver.
Please help me in scanning any other channels which I would be able to with my current equipment.

Please check out the link I posted. You will not get the signal from Brazil sats if you live in N.America.

There is Rede TV from Brazil on Hispasat 1C and you'll need a 75 cm dish or more to get it.

You are getting international channels using Fortec receiver and Dish Network dish and lnbf? Considering the info you posted, you shouldn't be getting any programming except for few promotional channels and maybe some radio stations!?

I'm certainly getting International channels, including some Asian, South Asian Channels(Indian languages) and PPV sports like Cricket.

I was initially under DishNetwor contract, Now I'm out of it. Thanks to Fortec receiver I'm getting all these pakages which otherwise would be a rip off.

I'm planning to install a second dish to get other American channels( Basic+ Expanded+ Premium channels like Cinemax, HBO etc). So, please share some info as to how to get these and how to go about it.

thanks for the info you provide to reveal you are hacking and watching paid channels without paying them. IT'S ILLEGAL IN THE N.AMERICA TO DO THAT.
