Fortec Lifetime Ultra channel prob?

I have a prob to get the FTA channels on THOR3, 1 west. When i scanned the freq 11823 H 28000 7/8 and 12399 H 28000 7/8, the reciver find the transponder but no channels. I have treid to update it via a channel editor and with help from Lyngsat's homepage, but i don't help. I have an other reciver and there is no prob to get them (not a Fortec), but the reciver is not mine. Any of you who have same prob or maybe You can help me?

I have send a mail to Fortecstar for 2 month ago, but no answer.

I have the same problem with my Lifetime Ultra:

On satellite PAS 3R at 43.1°W, I can not receive the following transponder:

12650 H 30800 (Panamsat)


I have tried all kind of search but no result.

During Power Scan the unit finds the transponder, but can not identify any TV or Radio channel.

As I have seen, there is enough signal level, but not any quality.

I'm using the official software: v.2.62PAL ( February 17, 2005)

The other parts of my system(dish, lnb, cable etc.) are OK,
because using my Skystar1 card I can receive EWTN1, EWTN2 from this transponder.


Have you managed to find a solution ?
