I'm able to receive other channels on this same satellite that have audio and hear the audio and see the video properly. This PBS video channel has high quality video but just no audio.
Any ideas? What should I be looking for on the Lyngsat.com website page for AMC 3 to determine if this Channel has audio or not?
Thanks,

The audio on this transponder is
AC3. Most receivers will not decode this audio directly. However, if you have a Lifetime Ultra, or a regular Lifetime with newer firmware loaded, the receiver will output the AC3 audio out the digital output. However you will need a stereo with AC3 capibility (I forget the name it would be called, something like Dolby Digital 5.1 or something like that, hopefully someone knows).
You can also feed the digital output to a stand alone AC3 decoder of some kind. I use a soundblaster Extigy, which is an external sound card, which doesn't need to be connected to a computer.
Anyway, the audio is there, it is just not coming out the R/L analog outputs, but depending on your receiver, you may have it available on the digital output.
