FortecStar 786v3 Digital Satellite Receiver Reboots

I just got the 786v3 Digital Satellite Receiver and Fortecstar dish, but as the receiver searches for channels, after it says No New Channels to add, receiver reboots and starts setup screen again. Turns Off and then ON again by itself

Does anybody knows what could be the problem

Thanks, Valentin

There is no Telstar5 satellite in the list, How can I add it.

That is normal.

Telstar 5 is listed in the satellites list. If you don't see it:

Click on Menu
Go to Edit
Select Satellite/TP edit
Click on ADD

Yes, the tp info is correct. For a list of all the live TPs on T5 see http://sadoun.com/Sat/Channels/telst...frequencie.htm

Rebooting is normal because it is storing data..

FEC means Forward Error Correction. When you enter a new TP into your receiver, enter AUTO for FEC. The receiver will download the best FEC value for your transponder from satellite.
