Question for Mr. Sadoun

Sadoun,

I'm DN customer and would like to replace my existing Dish 300 that points at 61.5 (Echostar) with DN SUPERDISH to get 61.5 (Echostar) and TELSTAR 11 (37.5). I already purchased Fortec IRD and ran separate RG6 line in for TELSTAR. My zip code is 19101.

If you think SUPERDISH is too small for to get both birds, what other dish I can install insted of my DIsh 300 ? I want the mast from DISH 300 to be compartable with a new dish.

Thank you

24 degrees separation between satellites is too much spread for the superDish. I recommend you get the Toroidal T90.

Question for Mr. Sadoun

Mr. Sadoun,

Thank you very much for the answer. Is this possible to get both birds on one dish with 24 degree separation in my zip code 19101 ? If yes,
can I utilize the mast form DN Dish 500 to install Toroidal T90 or I need to get a new mast.

Thank you

Re: Question for Mr. Sadoun

Reading the specs, the Toroidal T90 is able to get multiple sats within 40 degs in arc. So you should not have any problem getting 2 birds with 24 degs apart. About the mast, I don't think you can use the Dish 500 one for the T90 since the T90 is way heavier than the Dish 500.
I might get a T90 to test how it performs once it's available.

I found some russian channels on Galaxy 11 bird (91). Not sure wether they encrypted or not (Lyngsat confuses me) I'm using ChannelMaster GainMaster Dish (oval) with 91 (BEV) in the middle and 101(DTV) on the Right (if you look from the front of the dish).

If I add another LNB to the dish. Will I be able to get Galaxy 11 on the same dish ? Do I need C-band or Ku-band lnb?

Could someone confirm that "RTN" and "Pervyj Kanal Vsemirnaya setj" unscrambled ?

Thank you
