Lifetime ultra clock display

Not really a big deal since we've learned to ignore it. We've had the Lifetime Ultra for almost two months now. Everything's great but we need to re-set the clock every once in a while. It's about 3-4 minutes slow (per day!). Anyone else have a similar problem with their receiver? Can it be fixed?

Mine suffers the same fate. I have heard that it's a trait in the receiver and it cannot be fixed. If you are only 3-4 minutes slow per day consider yourself lucky as I have heard of some being up to 10 minutes slow per day!

new firmware 2.44 seems to fix clock

I just posted mention of this on another thread, but on my Ultra, the 2.44 firmware seems to have fixed the slow clock. It's held good time now for 4-5 days.

Lifetime ultra clock display

I communicated with Lifetime ultra tech support about the receiver's clock slows 5-10 min. per 24 hours. They frankly admit the problem with" it's a very good receiver but not a very good clock"

I'm having Fortec Star 2.4, Boot V. 60 made on July 9, 2004, purchased Dec. 2004.

Updating to 2.44 is the solution but they did not mention the new firmware upgrade to me Go figure.

My Ultra is several hours behind /day. Wish they had not even put a clock there
