FORTECSTAR V3 - FIRMWARE UPDATE

I am having Fortec star V3 and updated firmware. 100 % loaded and got the message good. After switching off the receiver disconnected the null cable and powered up the unit. There is no power on light or time display.

What did I do wrong? power supply in unit is good.

Any one could help me? Much appreciated. I think I can follow your instructions to revive the unit.

thanks

you talking about the 786v3 ? there is no updated firmware for that reciever, using other reciever firmwar can permanetly kill your reciever, or did you only use the channel editing software, if you only used that then you just need to turn the reciever on and leave it for about 30 seconds, when i edit the channel data, it ttakes about 30 seconds and the new data is loaded into the reciever
