wrong channels!

Hi guys. Those of you who are able to get AMC4/KU and have a lifetime ultra chould you check something for me? I did a scan on freq.11860 H- SR 28138, because I wanted to get Taipei International Satellite TV that has many FTA channels. But instead of getting these channels, I got channels like Big Brother, etc. Are you guys getting the same channels that I am getting? why can't I get the Taipei channels that are listed on lyngsat.com. Please let me know.

Seem like you have both C and Ku band on your setup and your switch does not switch propertly. You might accidently scan C-band instead of Ku band.

Seems the Taipei channels are gone again. They were there a few days ago but I just checked and I'm getting no signal from that transponder.

I think you are right Michael , I might need to change the Diseqc switch.

I think I saw a post on the Satforums forum that those channels were leaving AMC4 and going to Dish Network. I didn't pay any more attention to it because I don't watch those channels, so I may be confusing it with something else, but that's what I remember reading. I think they referred to the channels by an abbreviation like TIS or something.

Thanks wejones. Yeah I read that too. Weird things happening around my place because one of my FTA receivers pulls them in this morning and another brand will not -- same parameters, same dish. Ghost in the Machine so early in the morning -- this is not good.... :roll:

They are still on AMC4 so far.
