Old Lifetime clock and timers

Is it just my unit, or do all Lifetimes have a clock that loses a minute a day? Wreaks havoc with my timeshifting over the course of a week.

How 'bout using the timers? Mine seems to not change channels when I have more than one of the timers set to record and I don't turn the receiver on between the timed events. Anyone else with similar problems?

Any chance Fortec will ever fix either of these issues with a firmware update? (I could think of loads of ways to improve their timer programming, too.)

Hi Neil,
I have the Ultra. I just did the latest firmware update (2.39). The clock seems more accurate now, losing only 5 minutes over the past couple days. It was really bad before.
