Can`t get guide to work

:?:

Hi
I`m new to this stuff and am enjoying learning how it works. I get T5 and a few other FTA stuff but the guide doesn`t show anything except channel. I read in the manual it is suppose to tell you the disacription of what one is watching and time it starts etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Aso is there any book or list of what channels there are on the different satelites?

Re: Can`t get guide to work

99% of FTA DVB don't have EPG transmitted. If you want to test the EPG feature, you can tune to one of the BJ Homesat channels at 11749, V, SR 7232. They are encrypted most of the time but have EPG for you to test.

The guide is mostly used in Europe and the Middle East. The channels that have a T on them on the lyngsat meanes that they have the teletext.
