No remote control... can I still get in the menu?

Is it possible to get in the menu for a Fortec 786v3 without using the remote control? There are only 3 buttons on front, (power, ch up ch down) and none behind the flip-down door. Is there any way to get the menu?

Thanks!

Nope.

I can't tell you how many times I've been on the roof with small TV and the box, and forgot the remote... have to climb down ladder, find remote, back up ladder, in order to resume dish pointing.

Darn... I have it in my satellite uplink truck as a return QC monitor (beats buying a $2200 professional IRD!) But left the remote back in the shop! It seems kind of stupid that the device can be rendered useless by losing a $5 remote control.
