AMC 3, PBS Kids No Audio, FORTEC STAR (DVB-786V3) Receiver

AMC 3, PBS Kids No Audio, using FORTEC STAR (DVB-786V3) Receiver

I have Audio on other channels, Galaxy10R, Telestar5....when i press info on the remote all fields are filled in ....but Audio PID 0?
If that needs to be edited to (68) how do I edit that?

PBS mux on AMC 3 is using AC3 audio.

(Although I have not done so) I suppose you could run the audio output jacks on the back of the Fortec to a stereo receiver that has dolby digital or AC-3 type decoder built in to get the audio.

There is no way to receive AC3 audio -- that rules out the PBS channels; but it will process stereo audio from all other FTA channels.

Yeah, yer right. If one has the 786, it won't do it.
I guess I was thinking about the Ultra, which can get the AC3 audio...

I have Fortec ULTRA. No audio on PBS Kids either. How do I turn on the AC3 on it?

the fortec doesnt decode ac3 internaly, it outputs via S/PDIF connector to an external dolby digital reciever for decoding.
