Settings for Fortec Ultra with Big ugly dish using c & K

I need a couple of basic answers, if I am using a BUD with a fta recvr
namely FORTEC ULTRA what settings are required? such as lo freq
have managed to set what I thought were the correct settings but no luck so
far. Was basically trying to get 123 degree satellite, also whats needed when
im using a disceq switch, when they say hi-pass splitters shud both sides pass dc>, or shud one side block? I know these seem like dumb questions, but
any help would be appreciated. tnx

For LO , use 5150 for C-band and 10750 for Ku.

Re splitters, pass DC from your BUD to the LNB, but block DC to the Fortec, so that only the BUD is powering the LNB. However, you should still have the Fortec LNB power setting turned on, in order to power the diseq switch.
