Fortec Ultra remote control codes

Does anyone know what the codes would be for a universal remote?

Thanks

If you are looking for a 3 or 4 digit code to type in, then I have no idea.
If you are looking fordevice codes for programming from a computer via a JP1 connection, I have downloaded (but not tried yet) a device code set for the Fortec 786 (I think) receiver, which should either work, or be modifyable to the Ultra. Is your remote JP1 compatable, like the RS 2116, 2004, etc? If so, if you acquire or make a JP1 cable, you should be able to send it the device.
I have been meaning to try the above code for the Lifetime, because the remote that came with Lifetime is very flakey. It seems to often not work, and when it does work, the buttons stick on. It is very annoying. I'll try it in the next couple days, and if it works, I'll report back.

Well I tried the JP1 786 codes on my Lifetime receiver, using my RS2116.
Unfortunately, it didn't work. I'll try learning some functions to see if I can figure out what the difference is. There is a forum that figures out such things, and if all else fails, they can help, but right now, it doesn't seem to be the same remote, or even close, as I pressed about every button on the remote, and didn't see any response from the receiver.
Sorry for the false optimism. I thought they would keep the same basic remote between receivers, but they didn't seem to do that.

The remotes for the 786 and ULTRA are different and not compatible.

The remote for the 786v3 will also work on the 786NA, 9800, and 6000 models.

The remote for the ULTRA will work for the Lifetime, Pansat 2300, and Pansat 2500.

If anyone is interested, I was able to create a JP1 file that works for the Lifetime remote. I uploaded it to my RS 2116 with two programs obtained from the Yahoo JP1 list files section, ie IR.exe and KeyMap spreadsheet.
I haven't tested all the keys yet, but it seems to work on my lifetime receiver.
