Re DVB-T vs ATSC , I thought that a DVB receiver could receive ATSC format? Reason I say that is that I think the
PBS channels on AMC3 are really in ATSC format, not DVB, and DVB receivers show them just fine.
Re the web page link to read about the receiver, that is really annoying, because it now insists on you using Internet Explorer even though I use a more recent browser capable of anything the Microsoft version is capable of, except for accepting pages that do not conform to internet standards. Also, the Fortec software for their receivers only works on the most recent versions of Windows, which is completely unnecessary. All of this suggests that Fortec has sold out to Microsoft, which in my opinion, is one good reason to avoid their products.
