I haven't seen this before on other Dynamic receivers.
Since it worked fine for 8 months, then suddenly this happened, it could be a bug in the downstream from one of the satellite that you scanned that may have affected the list of channels. This is just a speculation. So try to reload the F/W from the Fortec Star website and see how it goes. Also, you may want to report your finding to Fortec. Good luck.

Thats almost as bad as the issues I've had with my receiver. While blind scanning it gets to 10% and often times just stops. The time on the digital clock doesn't keep time anytime you do any maintenance steps on the receiver. I've done powerscans several times and it finds nothing, if I go to scan Fta channels it finds them. Quirky as it is it works more or less. Blind

Just to complete this thread, the Radio section is working
again. The memory was never really lost - the receiver just didn't display any stations (acted as though there was nothing stored). Now it works and every station scanned in is listed. I do not know what I did (if anything) to jog it back. I would say, if you've found this thread because of a simular problem, just keep banging that radio/tv button. I like having the radio for DW, BBC RNE and that crazy satellite talk show on 97W. RFe |

Sometimes it is easy to push the radio button and not see anything. I always recommend to put the radio icon display to on so you can see if you are on the radio mode.
