Question Fortec Mercury II Freeze up- Need HELP!

I have Fortec Mercury II that is about a year old that recently started to freeze up when surfing the high end channals past 130 or so. It freezes and then seems to reboot. I have not loaded any software or firmware. Everthing is at defualt settings. I have an stationay dish with a very good signal. I ran a power scan and it finds a ton of channals and they all work till I get to the last 10 or so channals past 130. I started to delete some channals thinking that maybe the RAM buffer is full but it did not help. Then I purchased another brand new Fortec Mercury II reciever thinking my first one had gone bad. However this one does excatly the same thing. Any idea what is happening and how to fix it?

Fortec Mercury II - freeze up

Yes, I am on G-25 (IA5), but all the channels I need are broadcasted off this satellite. I’ll try your suggestion to isolate the transponders for these channels. Do you know if the firmware/software on Fortec’s web site can fix this or not? I am hesitant to do so since they claim that by updating the receiver I will void the warranty! Thanks for your help and suggestions.

haven't done mine yet but those who have said it took care of the problem I know deleting the transponder will fix it.
