Help!!!???? Does anyone have this type of dish and if you do can you measure the distance up the back rod to the first nut and let me know the inc's to it so that I can set mine that way. also the two bolts in the middle of the dish the inch's from the nut to the end of the bolt. I am trying to hit 97 degrees west in West Virginia. Do the bolts in the center back of the dish set the tilt of the dish I am new to this dish.

Hi All,
I have the same question. The "manual" has no instructions concerning setting these angles or how to set them.
In your reply please give location independent direction of setting this angel. I just puchase the same dish and can't see a thing. I am on the 13.154 parallel at 59.635W trying to see 110W... or anything else.

Thanks a Mil,
BravoB

it's a prime focus. The face of the dish points right at the satellite.

So use an inclinometer on the back of the dish,
Johnson Level & Tool 700 Contractor Magnetic Angle Locator

this will tell you where the center is pointing at.

Or go to sears and buy one of the newer levels, it has a built in angle display. Has magnets on the edge so it can clamp to back of round ring on the dish, and you can read angle from that.

As far as 110 goes, if you're using a prime focus dish for circular satellites, there might be an issue with using LNBF's made for offset dishes. They dont work well on prime focus setups. That might be part of your problem.

I think that dielectric thing is for enabling reception of circular C band, not Ku.
