Down furtherI have info, menu and last is lang-pause. None of my receivers have have been on the computer for changes by me. At this point I am still working on the receivers to get the system up and running. Thanks for your support.

Boy, that's weird. What you describe about the Mercury remote isn't even close to what my Mercury remote looks like. I don't have ANY of those keys along the left side, except for the power button at the top. That's where the similarity ends. But along the RIGHT side, I have audio toggle, TV, VCR, DVD, STB going down the top third on the right side. What I and other's were trying to say, is that if one of these keys other than STB had accidently been hit, then the remote will no longer talk to the Mercury, but would be trying to talk to one of those other devices, and you get it to talk to the Mercury again by hitting the STB button. However, if your remote is different, then I'm not sure what buttons your remote has.
Mine looks like the picture at:

re the first part of the above, unfortunately, I don't have a clue about what you are trying to say is happening, and don't have a clue about how you have the receivers connected, particularly with respect to how you have them connected to the TV. It really sounds like you have them connected in an unusual way.
