Fortec Classic NA & Mercury II Galaxy 25 Transponder update

We have been getting a few of calls from NEW customers lately about setting up their satellite receiver system on Galaxy 25.

We discovered that the default transponder listed in the Fortec Mercury II & Classic NA receivers has gone inactive for Galaxy 25 satellite. So new users will need to use a different transponder when aligning the dish for the 1st time.

Mercury II procedure update:

To update to the latest transponder, in Antenna Setup select "Transponder" Arrow right until you see 11874/H/22000 (use this TP to align your dish.

Classic NA procedure update:

To update to the latest transponder, in Antenna Setup select TP Freq. Arrow right until you see 11874-H-22.000 (use this TP to align your dish. After you find the signal, you may want to update to all the latest transponders: In antenna Setup select "Scan Mode" > Select "Full Power Scan" > Select "Scan" press OK.
