Picture on the screen is B/W and rolling, what can I do?

That is a result of changing the TV output format to PAL. To switch back to NTSC, do the following:

Turn receiver OFF
Turn receiver ON again
Click on Menu
Click Down (Channel down button) once
Click Left (Volume down button) once

If the receiver is new and never been setup before, then follow the following steps:

Turn receiver ON
Click the channel UP button one time
Click OK
Click the Volume LEFT button one time
Click on STORE.

If the receiver has been setup before, but TV output format changed to PAL, then follow the following steps:

Turn receiver OFF
Turn receiver ON again
Click on Menu
Click Down (Channel down button) once
Click Left (Volume down button) once

Supid mistake, I hit the Master Reset and now my picture is in black and white and will not stop running. I tried what you said for the 9800 but no luck still running.

In the last few pages of the owner's manual you will find the menu structure.

You will need to get to "TV Settings" and change the "TV STANDARD" to NTSC
