Signal Frq is 80% and 0% quality

I boughet DVB 786v3 from Sadoun, I had a 76cm dish and standard LNB.
I set everything accourding to the instruction and I tried a few active TP freq.
Please let me know if the figures I got are wrong;
My latitude is 45.0128 and Lang. is 93.149 based on this
my elevation is 38 and magnatic azimuth is 185.4, geographic azimuth is 181.4 and polarization of 3.8.
My LNB type Single and 10750
I tried different TP freq. 12152 and 12177 included.
Now, I am getting 80% signal but 0% quality.
Please let me know what I need to do.
I have spent 3 days and lots of frustration.
HELP! HELP AND HELP
THANKS

Holy crap, you're in my neighborhood!!!

The geographic azimuth is closer to 180 for T5 (I've got a dish on G3 and its right around 177.5 azimuth).

The Tp freq is right

Does it allow you to enter the symbol rate? That has to be entered.

When you aim to get quality, move it real slowly and wait a couple seconds for it to come in. When I aimed mine, it did take a little bit. Once you get a signal, turn the dish real slow l & r until you get something, then slowly try elevation. When I was working with G3, the best I could get was 40, but as soon as I turned the elevation up about 1/2 a degree, I got 75.

Ive installed a lot of DBS dishes and this FTA did take longer.

Hope this helps.

Yeah..make sure you move it real slow...turn real slow, wait 2 or 3 seconds, and then try again.

Also, make sure it is programmed with the right info for the transponder. When I hooked mine up for G3 (which is right next to T5), I got 90% signal, but 0 quality because it wasnt programmed correctly.

Once you get a signal, just monkey with it real slow, when you turn it, do it 1/16 to 1/8 inch at a time.

BTW..Im in MN too (SW suburbs of Mpls)

Nah..just got my FTA a couple weeks ago..so Im new to this too I just happen to really luck out when I did the install, and got a decent signal right away. I dont know if you have a compass or not, but they come in real handy for azimuth (left & right).
