Do you like the BLIND Search (Smart Scan) feature on your Fortec Star Lifetime Ultra receiver?

I love it. He only thing that bugs me is that after every firmware upgrade it seems to slow down a bit. Especially when it is doine with blind search and scans for channels and when it comes accross a data tranponders.

Other than that.. I love it.

The faster the scan the less TPs the receiver will find. The slower the scan, the more accurate the data.

Have anybody tried putting their motorized system on Autoscan overnight? By that I mean, the receiver will scan one satellite, then move the dish to the next satellite and scan, and so forth until it covers all satellite locations in memory. Since this would take a few hours to complete, it will have to be done overnight.

Let me know if you have done it and how successful you were.
