Mercury II volume offset does not work...

On the Mercury II, in edit channel, there is volume offset where you can lower or raise the volume of a particular channel.

This barely changes the volume. But some channels on some satellites blast out a very loud sound, others are very very quiet.

Then need to update the software for the Mercury II so the volume offset goes to 100 or -100 instead or 8 and -7.

Examples of very different sound levels...

Very very LOUD channel! DWTV - AMC 1, 3740/V/29270

Very quiet channel... AGHAPY - Galaxy 26K 11870/V/4168

FYI - I am using a 12 ft. wire mesh dish with a BSC621-2 C/Ku LNBF to receive these satellites for my Mercury II receiver.

agreed Bill some of the channels on G 25 are the same way this will drive you crazy at night when the wife has gone to bed.

I have found the offset does not work at all on some channels. It is a nice feature and hopefully Fortec will continue with the development of this feature. I do use it and it does help some.
