Lifetime Receiver: How can I add a new Satellite

I am having difficulty adding a new satellite to my Fortec Lifetime. I want to catch AMC6, its in my arc, no problem there. I just cant seem to add it. I have tried on the setup menu to go to new sattelite. When I do, I add information, but it never saves?

Any Ideas?

The AMC6 is pre-programed on the sat list. Did you accidently delete it?

Re: no deleation

Yes, there. Following this:
Menu, installation, highlight "Edit TP/Satellite", New, chose letter/number for name, setup freq/sr/pol.
Note: By adding a new sat using remote control, you can assign its Long, therefore the sat will not work with 1.3 function.
The only way to assign sat long is to use edit software.

If you don't add at least one TP when adding a satellite it won't save.
After it is saved got to antenna setup, select the sat you just added, then select USALS, then you will be able to specify it's longitude(select "store" on this screen to save the longitude).
