BEC DB-6600 vs. Coship CD VB-5300B

Which reciever is going to have the most life span, is the easiest to use right out of the box, and will support most cards with the use of a Cam. I have problems deciding which one is better in the long run and how they match up to the Pansat systems.

The BEC-6600+ model is discontinued and is not upgradeable to use a CI or smartcard. The factory does not make the CI modules anymore.

hi sadoun , I have bec db-6600+ whith version v5 software i followed the procedure to upgrade it to v7. i succed the probleme when i plugged the receiver after finish , I lost every thing even the screen in tv is not stable . the front screen of my receiver shows me 1 or 2 nothing else and the few letters that i can see on the tv is: stp1.
would you help me to fixe this problem pls?

Check your remote for a UHF button. Click it then click the right arrow button a few times until the picture stop rolling

In addition to what Sadoun has said I was under the belief that Coship was also no longer manufacturing receivers. I persoanlly prefer the BEC over the Coship but my BEC is not a CI receiver. Nor is my Coship
