How to get audio/video from RCA connectors on DSP-101+

I just received my Satcruiser DSP-101+ and am trying to hook up. I bought used and did not receive a manual. but downloaded one from the internet-not much help!! I do have a BUD but at this time I'm just using it for skew and moving my dish. I have a pretty good picture and sound on DVB C-Band right now but only if I run coax cable from the 101+ TV OUT to my TV coax IN. I would like to use the RCA connections to run to my home theater system, but it seems no matter what installation and system changes I make I get nothing out from there. What can I be doing wrong?? Much thanks for any help!!

Hmmmmm.....

Normally the audio/video outputs are always functional, you cannot switch them off. The only thing I can think of is to check the "audio mode" selection (page 29 in the manual) to make sure it is set at "stereo". I just tried a SatCruiser and the video and audio feed through no matter what setting the mode is at; stereo, sub or main. But check yours anyway.

Make sure the yellow output matches the yellow input on your a/v receiver and the red and white (audio) match too. Make sure to configure your a/v receiver for analog audio, not Dolby Digital or DTS. Try to hook the Satcruiser directly to the TV set using a video input - bypass the a/v receiver; use the process of elimination.

Also make sure your a/v patch cable is not defective.
