Japanese TV in Texas?

I have noticed NHK is available through the TelS 5. I was wondering if there is any way to receive more channels (be able to pick up any more satellites) with a BIG　SATELLITE.
I need lots of listening activites (I am studying and Sensei wants us to be able to see and hear as much as possible)

you need a 6 feet dish and a dvb receiver like the ones sold by www.Sadoun.com point your dish to Pansat 9 where you can watch the Japanese TV.
