Dual hookup BUD question C & KU band

I'm looking at purchasing a Satcruiser DSR101+. It also has a switch kit included for hooking to a BUD to utilize both C & KU bands for both receivers. I have a 4DTV analog. My question is the kit says it has 2 HF splitters and a 22KHz A/B switch but the picture shows a GX21D DiSEqC. WIll this work for switching between my LNB's?? And what is the tone burst on it?? Also do the splitters have to be the kind that only pass DC on one side or is that handled inside the Satcruiser receiver?? THanks for any info!!

You can use either 0/12V or DiSEqC switch.
