Full Scans

Hello everyone
Now that I have become more familiar with my system I have a question.
When I do a Full Scan on a satellite I think I am looking for new transpoters that migth have been added is this correct? Also when it finds a new transporter does the scan look for all the posible "sr" symbol rates
for the transporter? or do you have to input them manually?
Thanks in advance ..
I guess I had more than one question...

It scans for everything BUT this does not always mean it finds everything. A perfect example is the WB channels on C Band. They must be manually put in even though a scan will find the transponder.
