how many channels do you get with your fta set up? are there sats that arent broadcasting but give signal. are there really 115 chan. on ia5? is it possible to recieve less. by the way. you and everybody else on the forum has been great in answering my questions and helping me out. im still trying to balance and fine tune my dish. im still having trouble getting them all in harmony. getting one in and not losing another. thanks

haven't really set down and count the total some channels come and go fairly quick. yes there is at least a 115 channels on IA5.yes it is possible to get fewer channels than others do to location.line of site.and dish size all of these can be a factor. as i said in the past thats what this forum is all about helping others they are a great group.

On my latest T5 install I had a power scan Fortec receiver, forget which model, and it found 182 channels -- of course not all were FTA but there are still tons of free channels on this bird - enough for just about anyone...

I am over 200 channels FTA (DVB MPEG2) in Spanish alone. That is both C and Ku band.
