RG6 vs RG59 cable question

Hi,

I have RG-59 cable but when I measured the connectors, I dont get a complete connection using ohmmeter, so I think the connectors are "bad."

I went to Home Depot and noticed that there are RG59 and RG6-labeled connectors...

So, can I use/crimp the RG6 connector (which I think is slightly larger/wider) to my RG59 cable?

Will it make a tight/solid connection?

I know that the RG59 cable is slightly smaller (diameter-wise) than the better RG6 cable.

No you should use the right connectors for each cable.

use the RG 59 ends for your cable as Sadoun said the RG6 connector will allow water intrusion.
