Post Motorizes FTA System

I'm shopping for a motorized FTA system and was wondering if the system will be able to play channels from satellites in Europe? I'm located in Washington DC area and interested to know if I buy any of the motorized system if I can view for exampleAtlantic Bird 4 Satellite which is broadcasting at 7.2°W?

When you are visiting LyngSat - Lyngemark Satellite you will see an area for beam. If you click on that it should bring up a map with beam coverage for that particular tp. If you are within that area and have sufficient equipment you should be able to view. This is a general offering. Not specific to the sat you questioned. As memory serves me there really isn't much pointed at the US once you get below 20.

Yeah, that's just too bad the way these things work...

There are so MUCH more FTA channels/sats in Europe and Asia than in North America... if only they could aim to us here in this hemisphere... heheh..

I would love to watch local European and/or Asian TV shows that are FTA.... there is so much more selection and variety than you could get from dish network offerings or Globecast...

Oh well...

Not sure what you are referring to but I know I have way to many channels to even begin to watch. With my present setup I have over 200 channels in Spanish alone on the DVB MPEG2 receiver. At last count which was quite awhile ago I had roughly 750 channels on the DVB MPEG2 receiver. That was over a year ago when I was using a BEC receiver. As much as many may not want to hear it C Band is still king of the block

When I stir the DSR922 into the mix I am well over 1000 channels of watchable television.
