what diameter pole should i use for mount?

what is the best diameter pole for hh motor dish. how much pole should be in ground in concrete? just getting started. thanks.

what hh motor are you using I used a 2 3/8th pole with my stab 100. but some of the motors use different size.the descripition of the motor usualy tell you what diameter pole you will need for that given motor also mine was 6 ft long this can vary depending on the line of site.
