I currently have a
dish 500 pro (pointing at 110 & 119) hooked up to a dish DVR.
I'm interested in playing with FTA and thinking of installing a
T55 dish and a DVB card (or 2) in my computer.
What I want to know is if I can combine the signals from my dish 500 with the T55 dish so I can access the music channels and the 1 or 2 open channels without interrupting my normal Dish subscription?
Would this setup work if I put my 2 500 feeds into one of the DiSEqC switches and my Dish receiver on one of the outputs of the
Multiswitch and DVB card(s) on another output?
