Now that I have my stationary dish set up for G10R, my next project is adding an HH90 motor. However, I just wanted to get an understanding of what satellites a 31" dish can reasonably pickup. The zip code is 61459. Thanks.
You should be able to sweep roughly 60 degrees to the east and the west of your true south location (longitude). I ran a 76cm dish from 87 and it swept from 30 in the east to 123 in the west (had a physical obstruction that would not permit any farther western travel) with reasonably good success. I say reasonable as now I have a 90cm and the difference is night and day. Worth every penny of the extra $20.00 purchase price. I gave my 76cm to a neighbor and aligned it stationary on G10R.

If you buy the dish from Sadoun it will come complete. You should be able to use the existing lnbf from your 31" dish.
