Newbie installing motorized dish

I've dreaded installing this but I finally got all my parts and I'm in too deep.
My componets: SG2100 HH motor
30 inch winegaurd dish
Invaquad QPh 031
My location: 31.505074 N 97.231062W

My questions: #1) According to what I have read the motor should be set on 31 for latitude. Is this correct?

#2 The dish is suppose to be set at 30 degree minus 5.15 =24.85. Is this correct.
#3. For my area my dish should be around 174 degrees south. Is this correct?

Thanks for any help.

dish elevation?

One of my main concerns is the fact that the tickings on my dish only go down to 25 degrees. So if my calculations are correct the the mount would be down as far as it would go and still would be shy of alittle bit more.

Your going to have to be within the 20-25° range cause it varies alot.
Mine was supposed to be 25° and ended up being 19.5°

dish angle

The chart says its suppose to be at 24.9 degrees. I can only go to 25 degrees. So 25 degrees it will be.

update:

Ok I set the dish on the pole with these settings:
motor set on 31 degrees
dish elevation set at 24.80 ( as close as I can get it)
I took my compass and aimed the dish as close as I could to 174 degrees south.
zip code 76712
it just does not look right. Dish looks way too low. what should I do?

Set your motor on 32, instead of 31, and make sure that you are on the Latitude scale not the elevation scale. Ie on the elevation scale it should say 58.

remember the most important thing is small slow movements when setting up a motorized system.
