A friend and I have helped several people get fixed dish systems to access some AMC 4-KU programing using the Satcruiser 101 plus and a 30" dish. We have had very good results. How would the reception using the Fortec Lifetime reciever and 80mm dish compare with the Satcruiser system?
You will not see any picture quality difference between the two receivers or dishes. The Fortec Lifetime receiver does however support Dolby AC-3 audio for the few channels that broadcast it -- nothing on AMC4 though in AC-3.
