Hello& Help

TO evry 1 and it is good sit to be with. so,

I have an old rec GlobeCast ( model SC 996-T105 )

I'm traying to config the new LNB .

and ask me for Factory Reserved ******

Pass W 6 numbrs I could'nt figur them out

any one please can help

what type of lnb do you have.
1. brand
2. modle number.

theres no ne to cop an aditude we are just trying to help as for the pass word on your receiver if globecast can't help you, you may be out of luck.

Globecast is a sub company. If they can not provide you with what you need for one of their receivers you most likely can do nothing with it. Same concept as Dish Network or DirecTV. It is a special receiver set up specifically for their service. If you are a subscriber perhaps they will send you a new receiver

yes that is correct for the pass word 0000 and the master Pw is 7291 but

what I'm loking for is to cheng or add any TP or new sat ander setup, onther sub manu comes out > factory Reserved ****** 6 numbers

I would guess it is similiar to a DN or DTV receiver meaning it can not really be used for FTA unless highly modified. Costs way beyond what a fta receiver would be.

I will say I am not familiar with the receiver you have just the concept of proprietary hardware.

GC rec can be used as a FTA with out mod. because there is alots of channels free out there,

and can be used as a sub for scram.. channels.

I did not know that. I knew you could not sub to Globecast channels without one of their receivers. I have a CI receiver and subs in the US are extremely limited.

I may have to buy one of them to play with.
